October 1 (Friday)

I...honestly can't remember what I did on Wednesday and Thursday last week anymore. Though, I didn't end up getting sick or anything, so yay!

Friday was my first day of school. I got up suuuuper early (7 am) so I could do my makeup and stuffz. First class was Japanese at 9:15am. I got there kinda early which wasn't such a bad thing. However, as I looked over the syllabus, I realized I had been put in a class lower than what I should be, which is pretty disappointing. I'm a bit unsure of what to do to myself since I'm already used to writing 5 paragraph essays in Japanese and this class is starting with short 400 character opinion pieces. After that I went to the next class I was going to check out, which was a history class. However, the teacher wasn't there, so I went to go check out a religion class instead. I decided I'll be taking this religion class since it seems pretty interesting, though maybe a lot of work since I have to write a 1-2 page paper every class. x.X

After the religion class, I started freaking out about whether I would receive credits or not. I ended up going straight home after consulting a few people to email our study abroad adviser about the situation.

After that, I think I ate, started packing, and went to go buy a few things I was missing, like work gloves and an empty travel bottle to put soap in. Found the gloves at Lawson and got a Hello Kitty soap bottle. After that, finished packing and did some last minute studying before it was time to go~

We were meeting in Shibuya at a hotel called Cerulean at 10pm, so I headed out around 8:30 or so, I think? I somehow managed to find the hotel and the bus, but I started panicking because no one was there! I had received a call from Fujita Shiho's office earlier, but I missed it because I was in class at the time and didn't call back because I was unsure of what to say. I guess the time had been changed to a bit later, which I found out when I met a girl named Nacchan who was also unaware of the time change.

Finally everyone arrived and we all piled onto the bus!

But my goodness, I was so surprised when Shiho got on the bus with us! She ended up riding up front with a camera man. Speaking of which, the camera man came by to all of us and we did self-introductions. x.X I was so nervous! I must've sounded so dumb.

So, we spent the rest of the night on this bus. It was so difficult to sleep. Parts of my body kept on hurting and falling asleep. Sooo umcomfy, though I think I managed to catch a few winks, though only a half hour to an hour at a time before I woke up again.

As far as my outfit went, I wore my long shirt from Cecil McBee with the shoe, my hat as you can see, my black half-pants with white stripes from Delia's, and my boots I bought in like January I think from Macy's.
