Change of Pace

Got up around 7 today. Maybe 7:30? Getting later though! I woke up with my feet feeling numb and tingly...

Well, since Daniel has gotten sick of donuts (I would never be sick of them (・ω・)), we decided we'd try out the family restaurant just a block or two away from our apartment called Cafe Gusto. I don't know if it was because he was speaking slower, but we did just fine getting seated this time. After pouring on the menu, I settled on...

The above! Had some confusion though how the drinking bar worked though, but after he explained it we got it just fine. Good to know for future reference, since Bamiyan also had one (actually, Cafe Gusto and Bamiyan are from the same chain).

Daniel got a traditional Japanese meal. He managed to eat EVERYTHING. (;゜ロ゜) How he does it, I do not know. 

After breakfast, we headed to the Sunkus next to the train station, where I checked for some more hair accessories. Unfortunately they didn't have any cute hairpins (need them to pin my bangs back while I have my hair back in a scrunchy), but I picked up the latest issue of Betsuma Margaret magazine.

I think I enjoy manga more from Margaret magazine, but I'll definitely check out the other serializations in this one while I read it. I mostly bought it so I could read the last chapter of my favorite manga, Strobe Edge. I'm so sad it's ending!!! 。゜(゜´Д｀゜)゜。Inside is a keychain of Kimi ni Todoke, but I don't think I'll use it. But hooray, since I'm here I don't have to pay like $15 to buy a magazine! I paid only 440 yen for it. I wanted to buy a fashion magazine too, but I didn't really see any that appealed to me. I'll probably check out another konbini to see if they have a wider selection. Though I was eyeing the one magazine with a Anna Sui bag as a furoku.

I also wanted to get some snacks in case I got hungry later when Daniel wasn't (I eat lots of a little meals throughout the day, but he's okay just eating two big meals), so headed on over to the snack section. All we saw was Japanese snacks...no Doritos or anything of the sort in sight! (..;) So got these sour cream and onion potato chips. There was also chicken sauce potato chips, but we didn't dare buy those.

Well, today is going to be our down day to relax our weary feet. What I've already written about will probably the highlight of the day. Going to read the last chapter of Strobe Edge now though. *sniff*
